This role involves working with aerospace and space-qualified components. The ideal candidate should possess approximately two years of experience in the commercial sector, although recent graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Technical Skills Required:

  • Inspection Techniques: Expertise in visual inspection, dimensional inspection, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, including ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and eddy current testing.
  • Metrology: Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), along with other specialized tools.
  • Blueprint Reading: Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics, with a solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Quality Standards: Familiarity with aerospace quality standards, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and industry-specific standards like NADCAP for special processes.
