Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at St. Mary's Health Care System. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans on patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, and trauma patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the direction of a Radiologist, perform CT procedures with minimal supervision, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
  • Conduct a variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
  • Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings, demonstrating a high level of technical competence.
  • Perform angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats, showcasing expertise in advanced imaging techniques.
Requirements:
  • Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Graduate of a formal Radiographic technology training program in an AMA-approved school
  • One year of experience in a hospital environment, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
