Position Overview:
The Loan Processing Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing a comprehensive suite of loan processing systems, ensuring that all loan documentation is meticulously prepared for closure and that borrower files meet all necessary compliance standards set by regulatory bodies and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the ordering of essential documents and maintain communication with Loan Officers and Bank Services Assistants to secure required items promptly.
- Conduct thorough reviews of loan data within the loan origination system to guarantee accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies identified during pre/post funding audits and post-closing processes.
- Execute complex tasks necessary for processing loans, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete from the point of application acceptance through to loan closure.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure the timely receipt of pre and post-loan documents, adhering to all bank policies and relevant state and federal regulations.
- Monitor departmental reports and document status through established workflows, preparing disclosures and closing packages or Adverse Action Notices as required.

Document Management:
- Oversee the imaging and indexing of loan documents from various sources, including internal departments, third-party vendors, and external partners such as title companies and brokers.
- Maintain up-to-date weekly and monthly loan reports as requested by management.

Quality Assurance:
- Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
- Set up and manage electronic customer files in accordance with organizational guidelines, ensuring ongoing maintenance and accuracy.

Post-Closing Review:
- Conduct post-closing loan reviews and complete necessary checklists to ensure all processes have been followed correctly.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or equivalent in accounting or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in systems-related roles.
- Strong knowledge of banking lending processes.
- Proficiency in Excel and high-level analytical skills.
