Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will work under the Department Supervisor and Team Leader to handle materials and expedite parts for sales order needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack and ship parts on time
• Pull, gather, and verify parts by sales order
• Assist with shipping documents when backlog occurs
• Pack parts per requirements for LTL shipping
• Operate equipment to move freight
• Transport heavy material using a forklift
• Package materials and parts for safe shipment
• Communicate with internal customers
• Develop bills of lading and delivery forms
• Locate materials and supplies
• Learn and utilize current inventory computer system
• Perform daily forklift and crane inspections

Requirements:

• 0-to-1-year related experience and/or training
• Operating knowledge of Forklift a plus
• Computer experience desired
• Ability to work alone and with others respectfully and professionally
