Luminis Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in evaluating patients and providing therapeutic interventions to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their rehabilitation needs and develop effective treatment plans to address those needs.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide a variety of therapeutic interventions, including physical therapy techniques, to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide technical supervision and direction to Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides, students, and volunteers to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in physical therapy and to enhance your professional skills.
- Education: Higher education level required for PT licensure.
- Experience: Outpatient rehabilitation or related experience.
- Licensure/Certification: Physical Therapist licensure and American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS certification.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. The physical demands of this position include heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
