Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Lead Systems Engineer will be an integral part of the GAIT Operations Team, which is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive operations of the NSC. This role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Assuming overall responsibility for GAIT missions and NSC operations.
  • Coordinating GAIT missions with site leads or their designated representatives as necessary.
  • Preparing essential reports, including the U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) Executive Summary and the GAIT Master Status Tracker.
  • Managing mission planning, execution, and debriefing in accordance with government directives.
  • Recommending prioritization for new GAIT Points of Presence.
  • Overseeing personnel management to ensure adequate staffing during shifts and facilitating training for new capabilities.
  • Tracking financial resources and submitting monthly expenditure reports.
  • Administering the GAIT New Employee Training and Certification Program, ensuring adherence to government standards.
Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in networking/telecommunications or equivalent professional experience
