Role Summary

We are seeking a driven Project Engineer to become a vital part of our Renewable Energy Team, focusing primarily on solar energy initiatives.

This role involves managing moderate to complex geotechnical projects related to solar energy development, providing the technical expertise necessary to surpass client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for geotechnical engineering projects in the solar energy sector.
  • Prepare comprehensive geotechnical engineering reports that offer professional insights and practical solutions.
  • Conduct engineering analyses adhering to company and industry standards.
  • Oversee geotechnical engineering projects, managing aspects such as scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
  • Work independently on specific assignments, subject to senior review.
  • Perform quality reviews of work conducted by assigned staff, addressing and resolving quality issues.
  • Collaborate with Account Leaders and regional operations to coordinate field staff and manage workloads effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications through close collaboration with engineers, project managers, and field staff.
  • Assist in developing business goals and objectives alongside Account Leaders.
  • Support client relationships to achieve strategic goals in the renewable energy sector.
  • Conduct field testing and observations as required.
  • Assist in technician training and review for field operations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, civil, or a related engineering field is required.
  • Professional Engineer registration/licensure or the ability to obtain it within two years.
  • Five or more years of experience in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering is preferred.
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
