Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Baylor Scott & White Health College Station. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting detailed clinical assessments, and creating individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying health issues and developing effective care plans
- Prioritize patient and family needs, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement care plans, adjusting as needed to achieve desired outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and community members to empower informed healthcare decisions
- Work effectively with colleagues and community members to create a comprehensive care plan, delegating tasks and following up promptly
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address patient and family needs, prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current and valid nursing license
- BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in medical terminology, nursing laws, and hospital procedures
