Material Handling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handling Specialist to join our team at Nichiha USA, Inc. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse.
About the Role:
As a Material Handling Specialist, you will be working closely with our warehouse team to unload materials from inbound trucks, stack them in assigned areas, and load material on outbound trucks according to accepted safe loading practices. You will also be responsible for locating and moving stock for storage or shipment, identifying damages and quality deficiencies, and performing preventive maintenance checks.
Responsibilities:

Requirements:
We are looking for someone with high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, and we require at least 6 months of forklift experience preferably, moving heavy or wide products. You must be highly motivated, able to work independently, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Benefits:
As a Material Handling Specialist with Nichiha USA, Inc., you can expect a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
