Position SummaryThe Executive Protection Driver is responsible for delivering close protection driving services for high-profile clients. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of client assets while providing exceptional support to both clients and their staff. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work autonomously on various projects, from initiation to completion. A high level of emotional intelligence is essential for success in this position.
Executive Protection Drivers may be required to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may also need to travel both domestically and internationally. Applicants should maintain good physical, mental, and emotional health, possess a reputation for teamwork, and be prepared for flexible and demanding schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver both covert and overt executive protection and driving services to designated principals.
- Engage in domestic and international travel as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Report directly to the executive protection management team.
- Safeguard and manage highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Execute all aspects of protective duties.
- Adhere to and enhance established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Conduct ongoing assessments of threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.
- Carry out protective advance operations.
- Operate vehicles safely and legally.
- Graduation from a recognized executive protection training institution is preferred.
- Possession of a California Guard Card and CPR Certification is required.
- Understanding of corporate culture and dynamics.
- Experience in medical roles (e.g., EMT, First Responder, Paramedic) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in writing after-action reports.
- Leadership and management experience is desirable.
- Experience working with high-level executives or equivalent roles.
- Strong foundational knowledge in protective operations.
- Advanced familiarity with technology-based security applications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of physical fitness and professional appearance.
- Availability to work nights and weekends as required.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
