Job Summary:
Genie Healthcare is seeking a skilled Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, including the setup and operation of imaging equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for imaging.
- Assist the physician during procedures, including injecting contrast media and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- BLS Certification
- Active license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist
- 1+ years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
