About the Role

As a Child and Youth Behavioral Counselor, you will provide non-medical support to eligible faculty, staff, parents, children, and youth, addressing and providing solution-focused approaches to issues before they become greater challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with children 0-5 and school-aged children, youth, and teens on educational activities and developmental focus.
  • Observe, participate, and engage in activities with children and youth, providing coaching, guidance, and support to staff and parents.
  • Offer presentations on social skills development and social emotional learning.
  • Build rapport with parents and families through community events.
  • Help children with transition adjustments, such as new schools and homes.
  • Participate in regular in-service training and other contract activities.
