Responsibilities

This position is responsible for assisting in the repair and overhaul of equipment, including refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing service to customers by repairing and overhauling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performing general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment
  • Providing preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment is running smoothly and efficiently
  • Testing malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills
  • Maintaining accurate records of work history and processing job tickets and work orders
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA certification
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience
  • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, as well as previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes
  • A good driving record and ability to work independently
  • Emergency on-call availability
