Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety inspections on the community vehicle after each use.
  • Operate the vehicle in compliance with traffic regulations.
  • Assist residents during boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety.
  • Maintain up-to-date resident information on the vehicle.
  • Ensure timely completion of assignments and responsibilities.
  • Regulate vehicle comfort by adjusting heating and cooling as needed.
  • Follow established procedures in the event of an accident.
  • Coordinate with substitute drivers when necessary.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance and repairs as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with the ability to demonstrate driving skills.
  • DOT Medical Certificate (provided by the employer).
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize the well-being of residents in decision-making.
