Roadway Traffic Control Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Roadway Traffic Control Specialist to join our team at Contractor Services, Inc. Based in North Platte, Nebraska, we provide traffic control services that include installation of signs and barricades, roadway and airport pavement marking, pavement marking removals, temporary barrier rail, temporary signals, message boards and other smart zone equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Roadway Traffic Control Specialist, you will be responsible for positioning and maintenance of traffic control devices on roadway construction projects. This will involve setting up, moving, and re-positioning traffic control devices on a roadway construction project. You will need to make trips through the work zone and check the placement of devices on an hourly basis throughout the shift.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a clean driving record, be at least 18 years of age, and conduct yourself as a professional with coworkers and the public. You will also need to work away from home, report to work at the designated start time, and work overtime when required. Additionally, you must be willing to learn and adapt to new situations.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule:

You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including 12-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, and overtime when required.

Licenses and Certifications:

You will need a valid driver's license and be able to lift 80+ pounds.
