We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UW Health. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in a compassionate and patient-centered environment.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in our Ambulatory Family Medicine department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients from birth to end of life, promoting healthy lifestyles and prevention, and utilizing critical thinking skills to provide direct patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in a compassionate and patient-centered environment.
- Promote Healthy Lifestyles: The candidate will promote healthy lifestyles, prevention, and wellness measures, as well as provide chronic condition management and education.
- Utilize Critical Thinking Skills: The successful candidate will utilize critical thinking skills in a variety of ways, such as triaging phone calls, following up on MyChart messages, and providing direct patient care.
- Collaborate with Interprofessional Team: The candidate will be an active member of the interprofessional team working collaboratively with Integrative Family Medicine providers who utilize alternative therapies alongside traditional medicine.
