Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Universal Banker I, also known as Member Experience Specialist I, to join our team. As a key member of our credit union, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, promoting our products and services, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill member requests and identify opportunities to deepen relationships and achieve credit union objectives.
  • Provide outstanding service, problem resolution, and needs-based selling to meet member needs.
  • Prepare and disburse loans within lending limits and credit union guidelines.
  • Accurately process deposits, payments, withdrawals, cashed checks, wires, and other transactions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of six months customer service experience.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • The ability to follow all regulations and compliance.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, including Saturdays from 8:30am-12:30pm on a rotating schedule. We offer a balanced and predictable schedule, with all locations closing at 5pm and Sundays off. You will have the opportunity to participate in our engagement groups, volunteer opportunities, and company outings.

In terms of compensation, we estimate an annual salary of approximately $41,600, based on the job requirements, location, and industry standards. This figure may vary depending on individual circumstances.
