Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Restaurant Host to join our team at the beautiful Interlocken Hotel. As a Restaurant Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all guests, and working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and team to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Answer phone calls and greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Seating guests and controlling heavy volume at the Restaurant entrance.
- Assist with Restaurant in Room or Restaurant to Go orders as needed.
- Assist the team with the cleanliness of the restaurant when needed.
- Assist with side work, including rolling silverware, restocking, wiping down menus, and wiping down high chairs.
- Knowledge of hotel property to best assist our guests.
- Warm hospitality greeting with all guests.
- Attend to and anticipate guests' needs.
- Familiarization with menu and daily specials.
- Assist with delivery of hotel amenities.
- Open Table knowledge preferred.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
- Developed customer service skills with refined phone etiquette.
- Professional appearance, high energy, and the ability to naturally engage with guests.
- Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance.
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Must be 18 years old or older.
