Join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands as a Crate Fabrication Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring our products are securely packaged and ready for distribution.
COMPENSATION
Base Pay:
$18.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials of $1.25 for second shift and $1.00 for third shift.
SHIFT SCHEDULE
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7 am-3 pm
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3 pm-11 pm
3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm-7 am

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Crate Fabrication Specialist will:
1. Assist in warehouse operations by crating, pulling products, and unloading deliveries.
2. Ensure orders are accurately filled to meet customer satisfaction, inspecting cartons for structural integrity and making repairs as necessary.
3. Load loose cartons into trucks to maintain stability during transport.
4. Gather wooden materials for crate assembly and construct crates around products for shipment.
5. Repair or reseal damaged cartons and rebox products when required.
6. Organize accessory and siding products on storage racks as needed.
7. Conduct daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipment.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
9. Attend staff meetings with the Distribution Supervisor as needed.
10. Occasionally perform duties of a Warehouse Associate 2 based on skills and experience.
11. Accurately maintain daily time cards and weekly calculations.
12. Actively engage in all plant safety initiatives, depending on location.
