Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Novant Health. As a Clinical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing and evaluating routine tests on clinical specimens, utilizing accepted quality control techniques with the aid of automated, semi-automated and/or manual methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture, processing, and order and result entry as required.
  • Utilize accepted quality control techniques to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, Required.
  • Six months work experience, Required. Phlebotomy experience, computer background, knowledge of medical terminology, formal training and/or experience performing routine laboratory testing, Preferred.
  • Eligibility for phlebotomy certification, Preferred.
