Travel Healthcare Professional for Med Surg

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced travel healthcare professional to join our team at 7 East, a 14-bed Med/surg oncology unit in Ohio. As a trusted partner in the staffing world, we take pride in delivering exceptional care to our patients and providing personalized support to our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) on a 12-hour day shift schedule.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Utilize EPIC EMR system to document patient information and coordinate care.
- Administer medications and perform various procedures as required.
- Demonstrate expertise in IV starts and phlebotomy, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and comfort.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
- At least 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) units, with proficiency in telemetry monitoring.
- Ability to float to other areas as needed, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with chemo certification a plus but not required.
