Residential Therapist

The Behavior Specialist will be responsible for providing behavioral interventions for adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or co-occurring conditions in a residential environment. This role requires collaboration with the designated care team, comprising clinical personnel and direct service providers, to provide comprehensive care.
The Behavior Specialist will be responsible for conducting adaptive skill assessments, developing and implementing individualized intervention plans, and tracking progress towards goals. Additionally, they will assist the Residence Manager in developing effective Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (PBIS) interventions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care. They will also have experience working with vulnerable populations and be able to uphold our organization's core values and commitments.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, education, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience working in a behaviorist role.
- Experience working with children and/or vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of behavioral intervention techniques and strategies, such as ABA principles.
- Ability to collect, record, and analyze behavioral data.
