Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records.
  • Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Monitor patients throughout their treatment.
  • Perform routine checks of patients' vital signs.
  • Ensure that patients take their medication.
  • Liaise with patients' families.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations.
  • In some settings, you may also be responsible for:
    • Assuring patient chart completeness, records changes, and Medicare reports with 98% accuracy.
    • Ordering supplies based on department needs.

    • Assisting with patient set-up and clean-up.
    • Assisting with maintaining orderliness of the department.
    • Preparing necessary documentation and charting for patients.
    • Greeting patients and visitors.
