Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Presque Isle, ME. The ideal candidate will have one year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and current licensure in compliance with state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostics and treatment in a hospital setting.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment to create images of organs or areas of the body according to physician orders.
- Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning, reporting any malfunctions and ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards.
- Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures and address questions if they arise.
Requirements
- One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
