Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for computed tomography scans, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold their breath.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist.
  • Current certification in computed tomography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
