Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating unit functions. Working closely with the management team, the CNC monitors nursing care in alignment with established protocols and serves as a resource for staff, enhancing the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, customize, and deliver superior patient care.
- Assist with the admission and discharge processes to ensure smooth transitions.
- Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to drive improved patient outcomes.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance staff performance and engagement.
- Support staff scheduling to optimize unit operations.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 60 months of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 60 months of employment.
- An Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Active licensure as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Registered Nurse.
