Senior Tax Accountant

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review complex tax returns, including 1120s, 1065s, S Corps, C Corps, LLCs, and entities
- Identify tax saving opportunities, deductions, and credits for clients
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding tax-related matters, providing expert advice and guidance on tax implications and strategies
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, conduct research on tax issues, and interpret their implications
- Assist in preparing for and responding to tax audits, representing clients' interests before tax authorities
- Collaborate with colleagues within the firm, including other accountants and tax professionals, to provide comprehensive financial services to clients
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 4 years of tax accounting experience
- CPA (active license or getting close)
- Advanced Excel
- Opportunities to service well-known businesses in the Los Angeles area
