General Overview....

The Production Support Associate is accountable for executing a variety of support activities across all operational functional areas. This role encompasses assisting operational teams with data entry, managing process exceptions, handling product discrepancies, conducting in-process audits, and overseeing the shipping and receiving of inventory within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Responsibilities also include physically preparing receipts and shipments, validating production and receiving tasks, and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. The associate will perform validation checks on shipments or inbound deliveries against shipping invoices or bills of lading to ensure completeness and accuracy. This position is crucial for upholding standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities Include.....

  • Preparing products for receipt or shipment from the warehouse, both physically and systematically.
  • Matching actual products to corresponding documentation; filing records and logging transactions in WMS.
  • Testing to validate software and functionality of repaired devices and reassembling as necessary.
  • Documenting, inspecting, and assessing performance and/or appearance to repair and/or restore items to their original state.
  • Conducting production validations on operational processes.
  • Performing various research and exception resolution tasks.
  • Preparing and distributing routine production and activity reports.
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries regarding receiving/shipping data or issues.
  • Executing work safely and in compliance with company and customer standards and safety regulations.
  • Undertaking additional related duties within the department.

Ideal Candidate Profile....

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year of relevant data processing experience, preferably in a distribution center environment.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse or clerical setting that involves various warehouse/clerical practices.
  • Proficient PC skills required (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office including EXCEL and WORD).
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred.
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and adaptability in meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Strong team player.
