Bunge Operations is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Engineering Operations Trainee. This comprehensive training program is designed to provide a deep understanding of our operations and processes, including crushing and refining facilities, grain facilities, milling facilities, and packaging facilities. Over an 18-month period, successful candidates will develop skills and knowledge of our day-to-day operations. Upon completion of the program, trainees will be placed into a full-time position in the Business Unit that complements both the needs of the company and the employee's strengths. Relocation for future growth opportunities and/or business demands is required. Trainees will participate fully in the day-to-day physical operation of a Bunge facility to understand fundamental operations and processes. They will demonstrate their level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or the program manager. Trainees may be required to travel to other Bunge locations for instructional purposes. They will assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing operational conditions and communicate findings to appropriate personnel in a timely fashion. They will also assist the facility in prioritizing and optimizing Key Performance Indicators. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Milling Science, or a related field. They must be able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and change. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required, as well as the ability to be well-organized, goal-oriented, and self-directed. Demonstrated mechanical and analytical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills is also essential. Proficiency in standard PC applications is necessary. Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities is required. Occasional travel is also necessary.
