Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide health services and direct care to individuals with disabilities living in our residential program. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the residential manager and registered nurse to assess, organize, update, and maintain health care and medication needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to foster positive relationships, and possess basic to intermediate computer-level competency. They will also have a strong understanding of nursing standards, state regulations, and Massachusetts LPN license requirements.

A competitive salary of $**60,000 - $80,000 per year** is offered, along with excellent health benefits, generous paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct specialized nursing and other day-to-day care to individuals.
  • Document health care services following appropriate state regulations, nursing standards, and Massachusetts LPN license requirements.
  • Act as a liaison as needed to other community agencies and treatment providers regarding regular medical needs and care.

This role requires a driver's license with a good driving record history and the ability to drive a 12-passenger van. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited and approved licensed practical nurse program.
  • Current Massachusetts Nursing license.
  • Two years of general nursing experience and/or service to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community health setting is preferred.
