About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Specialist to join our team at Lutheran SeniorLife. As a Construction Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and daily coordination of assigned construction projects. This includes ensuring that all goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frames and funding parameters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform renovations, repairs, and new construction for all facets of buildings, including electrical and plumbing work.
  • Provide a continuous safe environment, efficient, and effective operation of the buildings and home.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Formal education in skilled trade or trade school.
  • 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent experience and education.
  • Knowledge of specific materials, power and hand tools, and methods used in building process of assigned trade.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, operating principles, and electrical codes.
  • Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, installation techniques, and local plumbing codes.
