Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Gaylord Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical rehabilitation team. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for delivering physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions of care to patients and their families, including medical treatments, on a variety of rehabilitation and medically complex nursing units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support to patients with diverse needs and conditions
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the RN
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications
  • Current CT LPN License required
  • Patient care/Healthcare experience preferred but not required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross BLS Certification required
Work Schedule

24 hours, evenings, including every other weekend and holiday
