Laser Cutting Specialist

Job Description

A skilled Laser Cutting Specialist is needed to operate CNC laser or plasma cutting machines in a custom fabrication facility. Key responsibilities include:

Operating machines: Set up and control laser and brake press equipment
Preparing materials: Load raw materials into the CNC system and prepare products for shipment
Cutting materials: Cut metal parts to specifications and produce plastic and metal parts
Maintaining equipment: Perform routine checks on the machine before and after operation, and address malfunctions
Planning operations: Read blueprints and mechanical drawings, calculate machine specs and parameters, and plan operation sequences
