Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hydroblast Technician to join our team at Thompson Industrial, a Clean Harbors company. As a Hydroblast Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-pressured water blasting equipment, supporting blasting operations, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate and maintain high-pressured water blasting equipment, including manual and automated systems.
  • Support Blasting Operations: Assist in blasting operations, including setup, operation, and teardown of equipment.
  • Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by following policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on equipment, including industrial vacuuming equipment and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Specific vocational preparation, including classroom safety training and on-the-job training, preferred.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification may be required.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and knowledge of emergency equipment operation.
