This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals within the field of industrial water treatment. You will have the chance to develop your skills in system drawing, wet testing, and process equipment monitoring, among other areas.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including generating system drawings, conducting laboratory tests, and assisting with monthly reporting requirements. You will also be responsible for managing bulk chemical inventory and performing field checks on process equipment.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate system drawings and PFDs for use in on-site manuals and proposals
  • Conduct wet testing in laboratory on water samples
  • Actively monitor process equipment performance through online tools
  • Assist in completing monthly reporting requirements
  • Manage bulk chemical inventory and assist with ordering chemical products as required
  • Perform field checks on process equipment (flows, pH, conductivity, chemical residuals, etc.)
Requirements

This role is best suited for individuals currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program (Chemical, Environmental, Industrial, or Mechanical) or a Chemistry Bachelor of Science program. Consideration will also be given to other science-based technical programs and degrees.
