Key Responsibilities

  2. Support shop organization initiatives.
  3. Assist in enhancing shop infrastructure.
  4. Keep tools, parts, and supplies organized and accessible for maintenance tasks.
  5. Collaborate with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.
  6. Participate in routine preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting various manufacturing machines.
  7. Help maintain the facility's infrastructure, covering areas such as lighting, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and other necessary repairs.
  8. Operate various tools and equipment, including power tools, forklifts, pressure washers, and other vehicles.
  9. Assist in preparing and completing maintenance documentation and reports.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with supervisors and other departments.
  • Exhibit basic mathematical skills, including understanding fractions and angles.
  • Read and interpret tape measures and angle finders.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Work in various physical positions, including kneeling and lying down.

  • Utilize various shop tools, including both power and manual wrenches.
  • Preferred training in forklift and overhead crane operation.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection when necessary.
