Quality Control Specialist

A highly skilled Quality Control Specialist is needed to perform analytical testing and ensure the quality of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemistry and laboratory procedures, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing in accordance with USP/NF/EP/JP/FCC guidelines and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all analysis performed.
- Interpret and communicate analytical results and issues to stakeholders.
- Schedule daily tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Perform peer review of analytical testing and write up.
- Write SOPs as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences.
- 0-5 years of experience in a quality, laboratory, clinical, or chemical manufacturing role.
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and maintain efficiency.
- Basic knowledge of lab safety and ability to work safely with chemicals.
- General computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
