Job Summary:

The Dietary Aide is responsible for performing a variety of food service and utility duties, including working on the patient tray line, loading and unloading the dish machine, pot washing, trash removal, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning food service equipment and work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs food service duties to enhance overall patient care.

• Communicates effectively with colleagues, patients, and family members.

• Maintains work areas in a safe and sanitary manner by performing cleaning duties.

• Performs other special assignments as needed.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service operation.

• Experience in a food services operation preferred.

• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
