Job Summary:

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team for a travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility/LTC setting. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility/LTC setting
  • Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
  • Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to identify areas of improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient goals
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in patient education and training to promote independence and self-care
  • Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility/LTC setting
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice
