About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apartment Management Consultants. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our properties.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains in good condition.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensure all necessary tools are on hand and in good working order.
  • Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances to management.
  • Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
  • Be available to work on an on-call basis to respond to emergency situations.
  • Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday.
  • Remove snow and ice as necessary to ensure safe access to the property.
  • Handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with residents, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field.
