Role Summary:
As a Tax Manager at FORVIS, you will play a pivotal role in assisting businesses and their owners in navigating the complexities of tax regulations. Your expertise will help clients to strategically plan and avoid unexpected challenges while fostering growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing tax advisory services, compliance, and provisions for both pass-through and C-corporation entities, with a focus on sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, professional services, technology, and financial institutions.
- Building and nurturing client relationships to ensure their needs are met effectively.
- Representing FORVIS in both professional and business communities.
- Engaging in the proposal process for potential clients.
- Contributing to the development of technical guidance for internal and external resources, enhancing learning and development initiatives.
- Mentoring and managing a team of professional tax staff.
Qualifications:
We seek individuals who possess a forward-thinking mindset and:
- Have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting tax, including technical consulting and research.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Possess a CPA license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Taxation or a Law degree.
