Job Overview

The Grinding Technician will play a crucial role in the processing of materials by identifying, sorting, and disassembling them according to production requirements. This position involves the safe operation of grinding machinery and ensuring that products meet the established quality standards set by Hoehn Plastics.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and manage grinding and shredding machinery.
  • Inspect and sort materials for production needs.
  • Verify that materials conform to quality specifications.
  • Utilize material handling equipment safely.
  • Store products in designated areas securely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.

Work Environment

This role is situated in a warehouse and manufacturing setting, with potential exposure to noise, temperature extremes, dust, and forklift traffic. The position requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, lifting, and bending. Candidates should be prepared for occasional weekend shifts and overtime.


Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Compensation

Starting pay is commensurate with experience, with additional shift premiums for evening and night shifts.
