Position Summary
As an Advanced Practice Pulmonary Nurse, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive healthcare to individuals with respiratory conditions. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate diagnoses, formulating effective treatment strategies, and empowering patients through education on self-management and disease prevention. You will be instrumental in the care of patients suffering from chronic respiratory illnesses, including but not limited to asthma, COPD, and pulmonary fibrosis.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed physical examinations and health assessments for patients with pulmonary issues.
- Identify and manage common respiratory conditions, such as asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
- Create and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's medical history, symptoms, and lifestyle.
- Prescribe necessary medications and therapies, including inhalers, antibiotics, and rehabilitation programs.
- Inform patients and their families about effective disease management, medication compliance, and lifestyle changes.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, including spirometry, chest imaging, and arterial blood gas evaluations.
- Continuously monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as required.
Qualifications for Nurse Practitioners:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in long-term care settings.
- Valid DEA License.
- Current Nurse Practitioner License.
- Experience in the field of Pulmonology.
