Respiratory Therapist Professional

Parkridge Medical Center is a leading healthcare institution offering comprehensive medical services, including cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality cardiopulmonary care services to patients, administering respiratory therapy and life support as ordered by physicians. This role involves performing diagnostic tests, utilizing various types of oxygen and therapeutic gas equipment, and monitoring patient condition.
Responsibilities:- Deliver and assess responses to ordered therapy per plan of care, including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures.
- Utilize various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment, such as masks, tents, and incubators.
- Administer prescribed doses of medicinal gases and aerosol drugs.
- Measure ventilatory volumes, pressures, and blood gas analysis.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment.
- Perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
- TN RRT license with ABG endorsement required.
- BLS health care provider within 30 days.
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
- 1 year experience highly preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- STABLE must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
