Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at BlueTriton Brands in Jersey City, NJ. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment used in bottling and packaging operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic machine systems.
- Collaborate with operators, technicians, and supervisors to ensure seamless production operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications desired.
- Three or more years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and water processing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:
Our manufacturing facility operates on a night shift schedule (4:00 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday - Friday). The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable working in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures and noise levels.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate: $38.58.
- Six percent shift differential paid for applicable hours worked.
