Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on nursing practice standards
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality, cost-effective, and efficient care
  • Apply age-specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care
  • Support the mission statement of Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation
Requirements
  • Completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN-approved institution
  • Minimum experience of 2 years in the Emergency Department
  • Licensed in good standing in the State of Alaska as a Registered Professional Nurse
  • Current BLS & ACLS certifications
  • Ability to pass and maintain PALS, TNCC, and ENPC within specified timeframes
