Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles, Inc. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

• Greets patients and visitors, answers phone calls, and responds to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Registers patients, verifies insurance information, and updates patient records accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinates patient flow, schedules appointments, and ensures timely completion of tasks.
• Provides administrative support to healthcare providers, including preparing charts, obtaining medical records, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Assists with patient education, provides information on clinic procedures, and ensures patients understand their treatment plans.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace, adheres to infection control protocols, and ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and resolves any issues that may arise.

• M.A. Certificate required; FQHC experience highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Current CPR Certification and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Spanish speaking required; willingness to adapt to changes in agency growth and expansion.
