Experience:

Minimum 2 years recent critical care experience required; experience with MS/Tele/ICU preferred

License:

Active SD or compact state RN license required

Certifications:

Active ACLS and BLS - both must be AHA

Must-Have:
  • Experience with Bipap and Cpap
  • Experience with Oxygen titration
  • Experience with Moderate Sedation
  • Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive medication titration, and management of ventilated patients
  • EPIC experience preferred
Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general nursing duties and manage various procedures including using Avea vents, Philips monitors, Hospira pumps, and the Artic Sun and Datascope IABP systems
  • Conduct EKGs, hemodynamic monitoring, and medication calculations as part of orientation
  • Undertake responsibilities of recovery for surgical procedures and conscious sedation
  • Manage ventilated patients, understanding both BiPap/Cpap and Heated High Flow systems
  • Administer medicalsurgical patient care focusing on telemetry and moderate sedation
  • Rotate between different units such as Critical Care, Cardiology, and Pulmonary/Neuro Acute
  • Comply with a nursetopatient ratio of 1:2 in ICU primarily, with adjustments for high acuity or overflow situations
  • Participate in a structured nursing orientation program, including CLI, computer-based training, and testouts for competency
  • Engage in training specific to department needs and preceptor shifts
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive family unit culture to provide exceptional nursing care for a diverse patient population
