TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work with our team in Baltimore, Maryland. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with interventional radiology procedures, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with interventional radiology procedures, including preparing patients, positioning equipment, and monitoring patients during procedures.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and fluoroscopy units.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of interventional radiology procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • 2+ years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and protocols.
