Position Requirements

Key responsibilities with existing and newly created clients include:

  • Gathering information and assessing suitability to thoroughly understand clients' and prospective clients' needs, priorities, and concerns, thereby building trust and creating a personalized, comprehensive strategy to achieve their goals.
  • Meeting with clients regularly to monitor progress toward goals, identify additional assets, proactively address emerging concerns, and adjust strategies to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaborating with other members of clients' professional teams, such as attorneys, accountants, and trust officers, to fully comprehend clients' goals and circumstances.
  • Researching portfolio performance, costs/fees, asset allocation, and making recommendations to clients.
  • Working alongside the Investment Advisor and branch team to ensure alignment and create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Building relationships with organizations and businesses to maintain community presence and obtain referrals and new business.
  • Coordinating with the Investment Advisor to assist in acquiring new clients through face-to-face and virtual sourcing strategies.
  • Continuously developing yourself for personal and professional growth.
Job Requirements

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Series 7 and Series 66 licenses are required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned study period.

At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the securities industry is preferred.

FINRA licenses are required within three months. State insurance licenses are also required.

As an associate, you are expected to complete all ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, as well as required training to maintain your license in good standing.
